Jason Cousins has developed extensive treasury knowledge and experience through holding senior positions in banking, corporate and risk management throughout his career. Prior to establishing Frontier Treasury, Jason spent 15 years within the Treasury of the Macquarie Group and prior to that undertook roles in bank treasury and risk consulting in Australia and the UK.

Utilising his treasury expertise and project delivery skills, Jason has spent the past 8 years delivering transformative outcomes for some of Australia’s largest corporate Treasuries. In addition to establishing end-to-end treasury transformation outcomes, his scope has also broadened to encompass delivering solutions to the broader enterprise wide payments environment.

Jason holds Bachelor of Business and Master of Applied Finance qualifications and is an active member of the Finance & Treasury Association.

Jason is at the forefront of Treasury transformation thinking and continues to explore the opportunities available to treasuries to ensure they maximise their strategic capability and their capacity to adapt to impending change in technology and the payments environment.
